The issuance of the Electronic death certificates will start in March 2022

Now the formation of an electronic document will become mandatory. Data on the causes of death of medical organizations will be entered into the health information system (EGISZ - Unified state information system in the field of healthcare), and after that they will go to the Unified State Register of Civil Status Records (USR ZAGS - Unified State Register of Civil Status Records), Rosstat and other departments.

The family of the deceased will not need to provide a death certificate anywhere. In the meantime, they bring it to the registry office to make a mark there.

It's worth reminding that the deputies are going to submit to the State Duma a bill on the funeral business in the Russian Federation. The document will reflect, among other things, that funerals should become a public service, and ritual agencies will receive permission for their activities.
