Putin called for the expulsion of migrants from the country for extremism and violations of law and order

Today, at an expanded board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Russian President Vladimir Putin (pictured) expressed the opinion that offenses and manifestations of extremism by migrants should be punished by deportation and a ban on entry into the country.

“Any manifestations of extremism, violations of law and order, illegal labor activity [should] serve as the basis for the rapid adoption and execution of a decision to expel such people from Russia and ban them from entering our country in the future,” Putin said (quoted by Interfax » ).

The Russian leader noted that criminal groups are building a criminal business on illegal migration. The President considers it necessary to apply the most stringent measures against illegal migration and crime in this area. In his opinion, the effectiveness of the fight against extremism directly depends on this.

This statement was made by the head of the country against the backdrop of an increase in incidents and crimes committed by migrants in Russia.
