Team Canada wins the Women's Hockey Olympics for the fifth time

The bronze medalist of the competition was the Finnish team, which outplayed the Swiss team with a score of 4:0 (1:0, 0:0, 3:0).

Russian hockey players dropped out of the tournament at the stage of one fourth of the finals, losing to the Swiss team with a score of 2:4 (0:0, 1:1, 1:3). Russian athletes met with Canadians at the group stage, losing during the meeting with a score of 6:1 (2:0, 2:1, 2:0).

At the end of the championship at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, the Canadian women's team increased the lead in the number of tournaments won. Canadians have become five-time winners of the Olympics. They are followed by the US team with two gold medals in the asset.
