Russian citizens who have passed a negative PCR test for COVID-19 or an antigen test will be able to freely enter Austria from Tuesday, February 22.

According to TASS, referring to the Austrian Ministry of Health, it will be possible to enter the country both vaccinated with one of the medicines approved by the European Agency or the World Health Organization, and those who have recovered from the coronavirus.

To enter by PCR, the test must not exceed 72 hours. The antigen test must be done no earlier than 24 hours before entry.

It's worth reminding that the Austrian authorities have begun to gradually lift coronavirus restrictions. On February 19, all those who have been vaccinated, who have been ill and with a negative test will be able to visit restaurants, check into hotels and go to fitness rooms again.

On March 5, all restrictions on visiting public places will be lifted in the country. At the same time, it will still be necessary to wear a protective mask in pharmacies, supermarkets, banks and post offices.
