One more Ukrainian athlete tested positive for doping at the Olympics

Ukrainian bobsledder Lydia Gunko (pictured) was tested for doping during the Beijing Olympics and tested positive for banned dihydrotestosterone.

According to the International Testing Agency (ITA), we are talking about a test passed on February 14th. On February 17, its results became known. The athlete is temporarily suspended from participation in competitions.

At the same time, Gunko has the right to challenge the decision of the ITA by requesting an autopsy of B.

Ukrainian bobsledder is 28 years old. It is her first time participating in the Olympics. In the monobob, she took 20th place.

On the eve, we recall, 34-year-old Ukrainian skier Valentina Kaminskaya announced the end of her sports career. Before that, she was accused of doping at the Beijing Winter Olympics. The athlete was found to have the anabolic steroid mesterolone, as well as methylhexanamine and heptaminol.
