"Donbass continues to be at the forefront, subjected to brutal armed aggression by Ukrainian militants. In recent days, the situation has escalated to the limit", - said the coordinator of the integration committee.
Recall that on February 19, the OSCE registered over 1,500 episodes of ceasefire violations in Donbas. On February 18, half as many violations were recorded in the region: 648 cases in the LPR, 222 cases in the DPR.
The aggravation of the situation has been noted since February 17. On this day, OSCE observers recorded over 600 cases of ceasefire violations in Donbas.
The next day, the authorities of the DPR and LPR announced a mass evacuation of residents to the Rostov region and signed a decree on mobilization.
The Ukrainian side rejects plans for an offensive. In Kiev, the evacuation was called the reason for the start of the "invasion" of Russia into Ukraine.
