Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and the Baltic States demand to disconnect the Russian Federation from SWIFT

The Foreign Ministers of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, in a joint statement, expressed support for Kiev and accused Moscow of gross violation of international law and all international norms. They demanded that Russia be condemned "as sharply as possible".

The ministers propose, among other things, to exclude Russia from the international interbank payment system SWIFT, "to politically isolate and express firm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of independent Ukraine".

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Kuleba also demanded to disconnect Russia from SWIFT.

It's worth reminding that on the eve of the executive director of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Oliver Hermes said that the committee is doing everything possible so that Russia is not disconnected from SWIFT.
