Zelensky said that Kyiv did not get the desired result from negotiations with the Russian Federation

"By now we do not have the result that we wanted to get. Russia has declared its positions, counterpoints have been sounded from us in order to end the war. We have received some signals”, - Zelensky said in his next video message.

On the eve, we recall, negotiations on the situation in Ukraine ended in the Gomel region. The parties identified priority topics, as well as outlined specific decisions on them.

According to the results of the meeting, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak, the topics outlined will be developed at the second stage of negotiations, if it takes place.

According to the head of the Russian delegation, presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, a new meeting should be scheduled for the next few days.
