However, the Mariupol authorities soon announced that the evacuation was being postponed. The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that this was due to the shelling of the Azov battalion. On Saturday they blew up the house. About 200 people were trapped under the rubble. Residents of the city were urged to hide in shelters.
