Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that in the Kremlin they do not know anything about the possible resignation of the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina, and also did not directly respond to the assessment of the work of the head of the regulator.

“No, we don’t know about this”, - Peskov said, answering a question about Nabiullina’s statement.

When asked how the president assesses the work of the Central Bank in the current crisis conditions, the Kremlin representative replied that Putin "repeatedly assessed the work of the Central Bank".

On March 6, the Bank of Russia announced a temporary reduction in the volume of reporting disclosures. This is due to Western sanctions against the backdrop of the situation in Ukraine.

It's worth reminding that by decision of the Bank of Russia, trading on all markets of the Moscow Exchange was not canceled on March 5, 7 and 8. On March 4, analysts indicated that the Central Bank, at the time of the decision, had not resumed trading on the Moscow Exchange for the fifth day in a row. As a result, trading will not be held for at least nine days in a row.
