Turkish Airlines stopped selling tickets to Russians from Turkey to third countries

In connection with the blocking of Russian cards of Visa and Mastercard payment systems, Turkish national carrier Turkish Airlines has stopped selling tickets from Turkey to third countries to Russians. The route must either begin or end in Russia.
The company announced such restrictions on March 10. She recalled that an individual can still buy any air ticket on the company's portal using Mir cards. But without the Russian section in the route, it will not be possible to issue a boarding pass. A separate ticket from Turkey to any other, except Russia, cannot be bought.
It's worth reminding that Air Astana urgently resolves the issues of stopping its flights over Russia with the Kazakh government. The carrier cannot continue flying in and over the Russian Federation due to the termination of insurance coverage for commercial flights.
