The Russian government is considering the possibility of a new support for citizens and businesses - the introduction of installment plans for the installation of water, heat and electricity meters.

This is reported by Izvestia, referring to the working version of the government's priority action plan. In addition, the newspaper writes, the government wants to change the procedure for charging fines for late payment of utilities for citizens and management companies, not in time for checking expired meters.

In addition, 269.2 billion rubles will be allocated this year for preferential mortgage loan programs, including rural and Far Eastern mortgages.

According to experts, the installation of one such meter for a citizen will cost about 4-5 thousand rubles, replacement - 2-3 thousand rubles, verification without removing the device will be 0.8-1.5 thousand. Ministry of Construction Rifat Garipov pointed out that the cost of all these procedures varies depending on the region of residence, type of housing, features and pipe material.
