“According to our sources in the Ministry of Education and Rosobrnadzor, the issue of shortage of paper in several regions is insignificant and will be resolved in the very near future. The OGE (basic state examination) and the Unified State Examination will be held according to the schedule”, - the message says.

Due to the situation in Ukraine, many foreign suppliers have announced the suspension of cooperation with Russian enterprises. The problem has also affected stationery - there is a shortage of office and coated paper used in printing newspapers, magazines and books in the country. Prices skyrocketed amid severe shortages. Many retail outlets sell no more than a couple of packs in one hand. On marketplaces and ad boards, scarce goods are sold even more expensively. Paper prices and availability vary by region. The problem is clearly expressed in the Volgograd region.

The activity of speculators who bought goods and sell them via the Internet is also noted.
