Bosnia and Herzegovina refused to impose anti-Russian sanctions

There is no decision on this either in the Presidium, or in Parliament, or in any other body.

"Without the approval of the Republika Srpska, any decision by Sarajevo has no weight. One thing is clear for sure: BiH has not introduced and will not impose any restrictions against Russia", - Izvestia quotes Dodik as saying.

He noted that there are representatives of the Muslim-Croat Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina who support the imposition of sanctions. He noted that they are trying to take advantage of the procedural presence of ambassadors to the UN and the EU.

The European Union, the United States, Great Britain, as well as other countries, have announced sanctions against the country in response to a special operation in Ukraine.

At the beginning of the year, we recall that sanctions were also announced against Dodik. Western countries considered him the main culprit in the crisis, because of which the country was on the verge of collapse.
