Interfax was confirmed by representatives of the agency.

The regulator explained that “the foreign media systematically posted unreliable socially significant information about the special military operation being carried out by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as information calling for the participation of citizens in mass (public) events held in violation of the established order on the territory of the Russian Federation”.

The broadcasting of the TV channel was also stopped by some operators. According to users, Euronews no longer shows MGTS, Akado and Tricolor.

It's worth reminding that in Russia a law was adopted that introduces criminal penalties and large fines for fake information that discredits the Russian army, as well as calls for sanctions against the Russian Federation.

It should be noted that because of this, the American television channels ABC and CBS stopped broadcasting in Russia, and the Canadian CBC announced the suspension of reports from the country.
