In the Kemerovo region, the Osinnikovskaya mine is being evacuated due to a methane release and rock collapse. 119 miners have been brought to the surface, but one worker remains underground.

According to Interfax, referring to the Raspadskaya Coal Company, which manages the mine, coal was squeezed out in the preparatory face. The paramilitary mountain rescue unit arrived at the scene.

At present, the driver of mining excavation machines remains under the rubble. A search operation is underway.

Collapses also occurred at Osinnikovskaya earlier, in which, among other things, there were victims.

It should be noted that PJSC Raspadskaya also includes the largest mine in Russia, Raspadskaya, and eight more mines.

Recall that on March 22 in the region at the infamous Listvyazhnaya mine, where 51 people died in November last year, there was a failure in the ventilation, which required the evacuation of 142 miners.
