Pandemic14,311 cases of COVID-19 were registered in Russia over the past day. This is less than the figure of the previous day, by 0.17% - 14,335 cases. 3627 infected people were hospitalized - 38.9% more than on Thursday, April 7, when the figure was 2612 hospitalizations.
Most of all new cases were detected in Moscow - 855, in St. Petersburg - 743, Sverdlovsk region - 681, Rostov region - 571, Moscow region - 486.
280 people died in a day - seven deaths less than the day before. 37,684 people recovered and were discharged - more than on April 7, by 6.7%.
In the capital, 19 people died of covid per day, in the Samara region - 12, in the Moscow region and in the Kuban - ten each.
