More than a quarter of respondents ( 27% ) declared their readiness to open a business this year, 41% of respondents would take 2-3 years, and a third of Russians ( 32% ) need 4-5 years to prepare.
As for the necessary conditions for starting a business, 47% of citizens stated the need for specialized education, 46% noted the importance of connections, 45% of respondents believe that state support measures will help them. Also , 36% of the study participants stated the importance of preferential loans, 34% noted the importance of a well-developed business strategy, and 29% indicated significant support from friends and relatives.
According to almost every fifth respondent ( 18% ), business development will be facilitated by a decrease in competition in industries. Another 11% said the benefits of the lifted coronavirus restrictions. Choosing the option "Other" ( 5% ), the majority of respondents implied a stable economic situation in the country.
