Times New Roman and Arial fonts are now unavailable for Russians

14 апреля 2022, 10:47
The American company Monotype, which owns the rights to the Times New Roman and Arial fonts, has stopped access to its library for Russian users. The library also includes Verdana, Tahoma and Helvetica fonts.

As Vedomosti writes, the company's website in Russia is available, but if you open a page with a font catalog, a message appears stating that access is denied. If you use a VPN service, the page opens, and the user, when registering on the platform, gets access to all fonts.
