In an interview with RBC, the minister pointed out that "there is progress in this direction" on the Russian side.
"As far as I know, the last few payments were in rubles, but at the appropriate rate", - said the head of the department, specifying that pricing takes place in dollars, but payment is in rubles.
Gazprom noted that the company's contract for the supply of fuel to Armenia for several years implies the possibility of payment in rubles.
It's worth reminding that Russian gas for Armenia costs $165 per thousand cubic meters. Last year, the country bought gas from Russia for $414 million and oil products for $270 million.
