"International organizations and multilateral forums should no longer conduct their business with Russia in the usual business manner. We regret Russia's participation in international forums, including the G20, as well as meetings under the auspices of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank this week", - it is stated in a document published after the group's meeting in Washington.
Members of the G7 are going to continue to put pressure on Russia, demanding an end to the special operation in Ukraine. They promised "coordinated action" for the current "increase in the cost of war for Russia." In their opinion, anti-Russian sanctions have already begun to influence the Russian economy. At the same time, the G7 members said in a statement that restrictive measures are designed in such a way as to “minimize damage to third countries and the global economy”.
