Washington will give Kiev specially designed drones

The Pentagon said that the Phoenix Ghost tactical unmanned aerial systems that were promised to Kiev were developed specifically for the needs of Ukraine.

A senior US military official added that the weapons were developed "in a short time by the Air Force". United States specialists will train the Ukrainian military to operate drones. Moreover, the training required is "minimal", it will be carried out "directly with the armed forces of Ukraine".

US President Joe Biden announced the next package of military aid to Kiev earlier today. The amount of this package will be $800 million.
