TASS: Anatoly Chubais moved to Italy and does not intend to return to Russia

TASS writes about this, citing a source close to Chubais. The interlocutor of the agency indicated that Chubais left the country on a private plane.

"Through Turkey, where Chubais was for some time, he flew to Europe and, according to preliminary data, is currently in Italy, where he has property", - the source explained.

He also said that the ex-head of Rosnano was not going to return and testify in the theft case, the main defendant in which is Chubais's former business partner Ilya Suchkov. Note that the Khamovnichesky Court of Moscow postponed the hearing for a month due to the absence of the injured party and one of the witnesses.

On April 21, it became known that Chubais had resigned from the boards of directors of AFK Sistema and its portfolio company JSC Elektrozavod. In April, the current head of Rosnano, Sergei Kulikov, turned to Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov with a request to check the work of the company during the period when it was headed by Chubais.
