A man died in the crash of a Mi-8 helicopter in Transbaikalia

On Sunday, May 1, a Mi-8 helicopter made a hard landing in the Trans-Baikal Territory, killing one person and injuring six.
Upon hitting the ground, the aircraft heated up, it was completely destroyed, TASS reports, citing emergency services.
The helicopter belonged to the private airline Most Avia. According to preliminary data, 15 people were on board at the time of the accident. Among them are members of the crew and firefighters of the forestry.
Five people have been hospitalized.
