In Ufa, 40 passengers were evacuated from a broken funicular

The press service of the Civil Protection Department of Ufa reported on May 9 that rescuers had evacuated people from the failed cable car.
According to Interfax , there were 40 people in the booths, 12 of them children. Rescuers carried out the evacuation of passengers with the help of climbing equipment.
There were no casualties in the incident.
The preliminary cause of the breakdown of the funicular is damage to the automation.
