“For the first time - for propaganda”: Finland seized the accounts and lands of Pavel Gusev

The source notes that for Finland this is the first time that a ban has been imposed on transactions with the assets of persons included in the EU sanctions list “for spreading propaganda”. We are talking about two adjacent land plots on the shore of the lake in Yanakkala, owned by Gusev. Their total area is estimated at 19 hectares. It is noted that at least one residential building is located on the territory of adjacent sites.

“The newspaper [Moskovsky Komsomolets] supports the Kremlin’s narrative and actions that undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine”, - the department’s accompanying note says (quoted by TASS).

For the Russian company Faberlic, a ban on payments has been introduced. In addition, her accounts in a Finnish bank were arrested. The restrictions have been in effect since May 4th. The Russian company is reportedly unable to make payments to four local organizations. According to the source, the Finnish authorities have suspended these payments.
