The governors of Mari El, Ryazan and Saratov regions announced their resignation

Now three more colleagues have joined them: the governor of Mari El, Alexander Evstifeyev, the head of the Saratov region, Valery Radayev, and the head of Ryazan, Nikolay Lyubimov.

All of these heads of regions have announced that they do not plan to nominate themselves for the election of new governors.

“Dear Ryazans! My mandate is coming to an end. I made a responsible decision - not to be nominated for the post of governor for the next term”, - Lubimov said on his page on the Vkontakte social network.

He thanked his team for their efficient work, and the people of Ryazan for their support and constructive criticism. Lyubimov expressed the hope that he would be useful to the country in his new position.

“I have made a decision on the early resignation of the Governor. I headed the Saratov region for 10 years. In connection with the upcoming election campaign, I will not put forward my candidacy for another term for election as the head of the region”, - Radayev said in a message.

The head of the Saratov region announced plans to focus on another area of work. He thanked fellow countrymen for their support, the administration for effective joint work, and Russian President Vladimir Putin for their trust.

“In connection with the expiration of the term of office of the Head of the Republic of Mari El, I turned to the President of Russia with a request to accept my resignation”, - Evstifeyev said on his Telegram channel.

Like his colleagues, he thanked the residents, the administration and the president of the country for their support and trust. He is convinced that the dynamic development of Mari El will continue, and the region will contribute to the prosperity of Russia.
