Supporters of the Armenian opposition began blocking the central streets in Yerevan, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Police officers detain demonstrators - in total, about 155 people were detained.

Participants of the protest action blocked the traffic in part of the capital. They blocked the roads that lead to the airport and the building of the Ministry of Defense. The police are trying to free the roadway from garbage cans to restore traffic.

At 18:00 (19:00 Moscow time) a rally will take place in the city square of France.

It should be reminded that on May 11 the oppositionists blocked the building of the Yerevan City Hall. Protests in the capital of Armenia have been going on since April 25. The demonstrators demand the prime minister's resignation, accusing him of intending to "surrender Karabakh". On May 6, in the capital, a thousandth column marched through the streets of the capital. Motorists supported the demonstrators with their horns. The day before, on May 5, the opposition blocked the roads.
