The Russian Armed Forces during a military special operation in Ukraine used a platoon of tank support combat vehicles "Terminator".

It is reported by RIA Novosti, citing its own source.

“Together with tank platoons, BMPTs are involved in the fire destruction of Ukrainian positions, armored vehicles, crews of anti-tank missile systems,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

The use of such weapons will make it possible to form tactics for their use and determine their place in armored groups. This experience in Ukraine demonstrates the need for BMPT "Terminator" in tank units to increase their combat stability.

By the way, these machines have already participated in hostilities in Syria.

Note that for the first time they were adopted in 2018. And the first regular unit in the Russian Armed Forces, equipped with nine Terminators, was formed in the Central Military District at the end of 2021. Earlier it became known that Algeria bought 300 modernized Terminator-2 tank support combat vehicles from Russia.
