Major global insurer Zurich Insurance leaves Russia

"The Zurich insurance group has agreed to sell its business in Russia to eleven members of the division's team. The business will operate under a different brand, and Zurich will no longer conduct commercial activities in Russia", - the company's CEOs said in a statement.

The sale of the Russian division will allow the new owners to keep the team with accumulated experience and continue to serve the market in the Russian Federation.

Recall that the staff of Zurich Insurance is estimated at 56,000 employees. The company provides services for individuals, small and medium-sized businesses, multinational corporations. The company's activities cover over 210 countries and territories.

Earlier it became known that the large international recruitment agency Kelly Services decided to sell its business in Russia, there are already three candidates. According to the CEO of the company, Peter Quigley, after the sale of the business, the agency will leave the country.
