The head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, said that Russia's military operation began with the aim of "ensuring a non-nuclear and neutral status of Ukraine". The operation will be completed, despite the sanctions and the supply of weapons to Kyiv by Western countries, Shoigu stressed.

During his speech at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Defense of the countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), the head of the department indicated that components of biological weapons were created near the Russian borders, and methods were also worked out to destabilize the epidemiological situation. He clarified that "there is a real threat that Ukraine will create nuclear weapons and their means of delivery."

“Despite the large-scale Western assistance to the Kyiv regime and sanctions pressure on Russia, we will continue the special military operation until all tasks are completed”, - Shoigu said.

Recall that, in turn, Alexei Zaitsev, deputy head of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, pointed out that Moscow does not intend to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine. Scenarios for the use of nuclear weapons are not applicable to the tasks of a military operation. He called the discussion of a possible nuclear strike on the UK absurd.
