The military registration and enlistment office in Tatarstan sent a summons to a blind wheelchair user with cerebral palsy

According to KP.RU, the incident occurred in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. For reasons that have not yet been clarified, the folder with the personal file of the disabled person has disappeared.

When she was found, it turned out that all documents were missing from her, including a medical report confirming his unsuitability for military service for health reasons.

When the disabled person found out about the summons, he was very surprised, they even called him from the military registration and enlistment office and now he is considered a deviationist.

“The Russian does not understand how this could happen", - notes Lenta.ru.

According to the publication, a military ID, which would indicate the reason for the impossibility of conscripting a disabled person into the Armed Forces due to his state of health, was also not issued to a citizen.

For what reasons, the officials decided to demand the call of a disabled person, now the public figures from the Society of the Blind, together with the staff of the military registration and enlistment office, are investigating.

Earlier, a similar incident occurred in Kostroma. During a medical examination in December 2021, for unknown reasons, the draft board declared fit for military service a seriously ill teenager Andrei S., who suffers from autism, dysgraphia and a syndrome of motor disorders, and has been registered as a child with disabilities since infancy.

Despite the submitted medical documents, the sick Kostroma citizen with non-working fingers of both hands and unable to study at a secondary school without the constant help of a tutor, the commission upgraded the fitness category to “B-4” - the last one possible for military conscription in peacetime.

Arriving at the military registration and enlistment office, the teenager's parents asked how exactly their sick child, incapable of self-care, officials intend to provide tutor assistance in army conditions. The teenager's family expressed indignation at the position of the military registration and enlistment office and demanded a review of the decision of the draft board. The final decision on the future fate of the conscript has not yet been made.
