This decision was made as part of a package of measures by the Moscow Government to support citizens in the face of sanctions pressure. In addition, the cost of living will be increased.
“Also, the subsistence minimum in Moscow will be increased by 10%, which will amount to: per capita - 20,585 rubles; for the able-bodied population - 23,508 rubles; for pensioners - 15,410 rubles; for children - 17,791 rubles”, - the announcement on the website of the mayor of Moscow says.
The press service clarified that the cost of living is used to determine the right of citizens to various types of benefits, which include social benefits, services, subsidies, free legal assistance.
