Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky granted Ukrainian citizenship to journalist Aleksandr Nevzorov* (included in the register of foreign agents).

According to the adviser to the Minister of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko, citizenship was given to the journalist and his wife "for outstanding services to the country". Anton Gerashchenko thanked the journalist for his courage, honesty and sincere desire to stop the armed conflict.

A case was initiated against a journalist in Russia for disseminating deliberately false information after his publication on social networks about the shelling of a maternity hospital in Mariupol. Now the journalist faces imprisonment for 10 years. In May, he was put on the wanted list. The court arrested him in absentia. Now the journalist is not in Russia.

At the beginning of the military special operation, the journalist said that the conflict in Ukraine would be "dirty and long". He urged to be critical of 65-80% of the information, since these messages are pure fakes.
