The Belgrade newspaper Vecherniye Novosti, cited by TASS, reported that the administration of Serbian head of state Aleksandar Vučić is currently not commenting on the situation. The Serbian President is expected to discuss the current situation with Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Botan-Kharchenko on Monday.
The day before, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, told reporters that the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry would visit Serbia on June 6-7, during which a meeting with President Vucic, negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Chairman of the National Assembly are planned.
There were no official comments from Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Montenegro.
