The former McDonald's will start working in St. Petersburg within two weeks

Now McDonald's restaurants in St. Petersburg do not work, but the establishments posted announcements that they "will open soon" and are currently recruiting. We left an application for employment in a restaurant and received a response that the network is preparing to launch.

“If you come for an interview today and we accept you, then it will take you two weeks to collect documents, during which time we will just open”, - the company told a Novye Izvestia correspondent.

Under what name the network will open, they did not name. But in St. Petersburg, unlike in Moscow, McDonald's signs and logos were not dismantled.

As Novye Izvestia previously reported, amid the events in Ukraine, the McDonald's chain announced the sale of its business in Russia. The buyer was one of the franchisees who developed restaurants in Siberia, a large Novokuznetsk businessman Alexander Govor. After the sale of the company, a rebranding was announced, several new names have already been registered. The most probable may be "Our place", under which the domain name was purchased. The opening of the first 15 restaurants in Moscow has already been announced, they should start operating on June 12.
