The American company Axiom Space paid in rubles for the flight of NASA astronaut Mark Vande Hay on the Russian spacecraft Soyuz MS-19. This was announced by the Director General of "Roscosmos" Dmitry Rogozin.
He noted that the payment came with a delay of a month. Nevertheless, the foreign company transferred the funds in full, Dmitry Rogozin said on the air of Rossiya 24.
The cost of the flight was two billion rubles.
It's worth reminding that the American astronaut returned on a Russian ship from the International Space Station (ISS) on March 30. Axiom Space acted as an intermediary in this transaction. She had difficulties with the transfer of funds after the return of the astronaut.
