"Most likely, all the debts that remain with Ukrainian banks and collection agencies will be written off", - he said in his video message published on Telegram.

This also applies to the debts of the inhabitants of the region to utility companies. From July, new tariffs will be set in the region, he added.

He also noted that payments of all social benefits are starting in the region. Residents of the region can obtain Russian citizenship in a simplified manner. The first passports have already been issued to 25 residents of the region, Interfax writes.
