US says Pfizer vaccine is safe for children under five

According to AP, officials made the same statement last week about Moderna. A meeting of independent experts is scheduled for June 15, at which a final decision will be made on the vaccination of children of this age. In the meantime, the 0-5 age group remains the only one in the country who is not allowed to be vaccinated against coronavirus.

Earlier, Pfizer responded to allegations of pandemic profiteering by promising to sell its drugs at cost to 45 of the world's poorest countries and calling on other major pharmaceutical manufacturers to join its initiative.
