Analysts note a sharp increase in demand in the Far East for specialists with knowledge of the Chinese language.

Vasily Orlov, Governor of the Amur Region, made a very revealing statement in the spirit of the times on June 10. During his meeting with the Consul General of China in Khabarovsk, Cui Guojie, dedicated to the opening of traffic on the Blagoveshchensk-Heihe automobile bridge, he said that from September 1, the teaching of the Chinese language will begin in all schools in Blagoveshchensk. True, it remains a mystery whether this discipline will be mandatory or optional?

It is no secret that since the beginning of this year, according to the recruiting agency Headhunter, the demand for workers who speak Chinese in the Far East has doubled. Particular demand is observed in the IT sector, logistics, retail and in the production of non-food products and services. Most often, Chinese experts are required in Vladivostok - 35% of the total number of vacancies, 19% - in Khabarovsk, 14% - in Blagoveshchensk, 11% - in Chita and another 6% - in Ulan-Ude.

I must say that social networks have reacted differently to this news. She shocked someone.

- You can stop teaching Russian at the same time, and the history of Russia should definitely be banned.

- Russia was a gas station of the West, now it has become a gas station of China.

- Fools! English is an international language and to work with Chinese companies, you need English.

And someone treated her calmly:

- The news is not bad, I like it. They do not necessarily say to ban the English language. And the possibility of learning an additional language is definitely a plus.

- The idea itself is normal, and there is nothing so terrible, especially for the border area. But something tells me that Chinese will be taught instead of English.
