Government approves double salaries for seconded to Donbass

“Employees during their stay on business trips in the territories of the DPR and LPR and other territories retained wages (average earnings), calculated in accordance with the Regulations on the peculiarities of the procedure for calculating the average wage are paid in rubles in a double amount”, — stated in the published document.

The Decree comes into force from the date of publication. The new rules apply to officials in federal government agencies who do not belong to the civil service, employees of institutions subordinate to federal authorities, as well as employees of organizations specializing in work to ensure the life of the population, restore infrastructure in the Donbass or other territories in need in that.

A similar decision applies to the reimbursement of housing expenses, but in order to reimburse additional expenses, the employer may pay unreported amounts to employees. Funding comes from the federal budget.

“The employer has the right to pay unreported amounts during their stay on business trips in these territories in order to reimburse additional expenses associated with such business trips”, - the resolution says.
