Indonesian President urges G7 and G20 to work on food supplies from Russia

Widodo is confident in the need to restore the supply of grain from Ukraine and food and fertilizer from Russia.

“We must focus on the fact that supplies are not subject to sanctions,”Detikcom quoted the Indonesian president as saying during the G7 summit.

The head of state asks to establish communication with banks, insurance companies, carriers in order to convince them that there are no restrictions on supplies.

Recall that Widodo announced his intention to arrive in Moscow and Kiev, as well as a number of European capitals in order to once again "try to resolve the military conflict" between Russia and Ukraine. Otherwise, according to him, the summit of the G20 countries will fail. Widodo confirmed that he invited Putin to the summit, and also said that he had sent an invitation to the President of Ukraine. According to him, Jakarta wants to unite the G20 and oppose a split. President Putin accepted Indonesia's invitation. But Zelensky has not yet given his consent.

On the eve it became known that Putin will participate in the summit.
