Without a fan passport, it will be impossible for stadium staff, journalists, or guests to enter the games of the Russian Premier League.

Not very good news for all football fans in our country without exception: from July 4, the state will start issuing the so-called Fan ID, or fan passport, without which it will be impossible to get to the games of the Russian Premier League from the beginning of the new season. This document will be required to enter the major league games, as well as the final match of the Russian Cup. Everyone must have it: fans, VIP guests, stadium staff, and journalists! Thus, the authorities expect to "increase the level of security at stadiums and sports facilities". The Ministry of Sports said in a statement that “The system will not allow a card to be issued to a person who, for example, has been banned by a court from attending competitions due to participation in riots”.

So, from July 4, it will be possible to issue a fan card (Fan ID) on the website of the State Services (Gosuslugi - editor's note), the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development reports.

For registration you will need:

- fill out a questionnaire on public services;

- To upload a photo;

- after submitting an application, confirm your identity at the MFC.

That is, personal presence is a prerequisite.

Citizens from 14 years of age can apply on their own. For children under 14 years old, their parents or legal representatives can issue a card in their personal account. After registration, the fan card remains in the personal account at the State Services.

Fan ID will be required to attend RPL home matches at stadiums in the following cities from the beginning of the new season: Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Sochi.

By the end of the year, stadiums in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Khimki, Grozny, Krasnodar, Orenburg and Voronezh will be connected to the system.

As you know, fans of almost all Russian clubs refused to receive fan IDs and thus declared a boycott of matches involving their teams.
