Recall that Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Dmitry Kolker, a patient with pancreatic cancer in the terminal, fourth stage, was arrested on June 30. He was accused of treason and taken out of the hospital. The condition of Kolker, head of the laboratory of quantum optical technologies at Novosibirsk State University, was very difficult at that time: he could no longer eat on his own. Three days later, the scientist died in jail.
