President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, by his decree, dismissed Andrey Melnik from the position of the scandalous post of the republic in Berlin (pictured). In addition, Ukrainian ambassadors to Hungary, Norway, India and the Czech Republic have been dismissed.

Bild wrote on July 4 about the possible dismissal of Melnyk. In Ukraine, he can be made head of the Foreign Ministry.

Recall that Melnik called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz “an offended liverwurst” in response to his words about Zelensky’s refusal to receive German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Kiev. The last straw was the scandal that unfolded around the diplomat's statements about Stepan Bandera. In an interview with a German journalist, Melnik compared Bandera to Robin Hood, after which the Polish Foreign Ministry accused him of falsification. To which the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that this was the personal position of the ambassador. The Israeli Embassy in Germany sharply criticized the ambassador.

Also today it became known about the dismissal of Lyubov Netop, who represented Ukraine in Hungary, Vyacheslav Yatsyuk - in Norway. Yevgeny Perebiinos in the Czech Republic, Igor Palehu - in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives and Sri Lanka.
