Mine rescuers found alive a miner who was believed to have died as a result of a rock collapse at the Raspadskaya-Koksovaya mine in Kuzbass on July 5. These data were confirmed both in the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations and the head of Mezhdurechensk, Vladimir Chernov.
- Alive! Tonight, rescuers reached the place where the driver of the drilling rig of the Raspadskaya-Koksovaya mine was during the collapse," the mayor wrote in his telegram channel.
The worker was injured. He was lifted to the surface and handed over to the doctors. To date, the search and rescue operation has been completed.
On July 5, a rock collapse occurred at the enterprise. Of the 190 people who were in the mine, 188 came to the surface. Initially, two deaths were reported.
The Raspadskaya coal company said that a seismic event was the cause of the collapse of the rock.
