Three sources of Novye Izvestiya confirm that the man, who had a confirmed infection, visited two European countries - Portugal (he spent 3 days in Lisbon) and Estonia, through which he had transit to St. Petersburg.

In the official report of Rospotrebnadzor dated July 12, it is reported that the disease was detected in a young man who returned from a trip to Europe and applied to a medical facility with a characteristic rash. The patient himself turned to the doctors, discovering a characteristic rash.

Doctors indicated that the disease in a young man is mild, there is no threat to his life. Now he is in isolation in medorgonization. “The circle of contacts of the sick person during his stay in Russia was limited”, - the ministry said.
