A fine of 50 thousand rubles threatens the artist of the Yekaterinburg Kolyada Theater Oleg Yagodin, the Theater magazine reports. The accusation is related to Yagodin's statements during the performance of the Kurara group, of which he is the leader, at the Ural Music Night festival. Consideration of the case under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses in court is scheduled for August 11. The artist's lawyer, Georgy Krasnov, said that the accusation was groundless and bordered on slander, since Yagodin did not utter the words reflected in the protocol with a negative assessment of the activities of the president and the armed forces of the Russian Federation. “They heard and imputed what, apparently, they wanted to hear,” the lawyer says. “Such misrepresentation of the public borders on slander”.
A little earlier, the magazine "Theater" reported on changes in the troupe of the Moscow Art Theater. According to sources close to the theater, Anatoly Beliy left it. The artist resigned of his own free will and left the country. The theater began to introduce other performers for his roles. So, in the September screenings of "Serezha" by Dmitry Krymov (who also left the country), the role of Karenin instead of Bely will be played by Konstantin Khabensky.
