Millionaires en masse are fleeing from the BRICS countries to the Emirates and Australia

More than 35 thousand millionaires will leave Brazil, India, China and Russia this year.

Analysts of the consulting group Henley & Partners conducted an interesting study on the economic situation in the countries of the BRICS community. A significant number of millionaires are expected to emigrate from them in 2022 alone: 15,000 from Russia; from China - 10.000; from India, 8,000; and from Brazil, 2,500.

This is due to the slowdown in the overall growth of prosperity and the deterioration of relations with Western countries. Interestingly, during the same time period, Ukraine lost approximately 2,800 millionaires, or 42% of all wealthy citizens of the country - this is the largest outflow in the history of the country and is, of course, associated with hostilities. In Russia, the number of losses is 15% of the total.

Analysts also report that for several years in a row the main countries hosting wealthy fugitives are the United Arab Emirates (the influx in 2022 will be about 4,000 people or 208%) and Australia (3,500). In addition to these countries, millionaires are actively choosing Singapore for a new place of residence (2,800) and Israel (2,600).
