Since the night of July 15, heavy rains have not stopped in Primorsky Territory. Water flooded more than 500 plots and 18 houses in the region, about a hundred roads were washed out, bridges were damaged.

A state of emergency has been introduced in the region. On July 18, it was reported that about 140 territories were flooded.

"As a result of the flood, one house was destroyed, another one was recognized as emergency. 18 houses and more than 500 household plots were flooded. 78 overflows are recorded on 34 roads. There is no electricity in five villages. More than a thousand people and 500 pieces of equipment are involved in the elimination of the consequences of bad weather", - Governor Oleg Kozhemyako said.

In the Olginsky District, 2.5 norms of monthly precipitation fell - the most difficult situation remains there. There is no access to the villages of Margaritovo, Moryak-Rybolov, Mikhailovka, Furmanovo.

"Several bridges have been washed away, their restoration will be possible after the water subsides. Now they are sleeping, the roads are being graded. Yesterday, the bridge was restored at the 299th kilometer, providing access to the village of Moldovanovka", - said the head of the regional Ministry of Transport, Alexey Ignatenko.

Driveways have been restored everywhere, except for the villages of Kuguki and Linevichi in the Ussuri District.

The amount of damage is set to determine the amount of assistance to the municipalities. As Vostok-Media reported , ministry employees go around the flooded houses and assess the damage.

It's worth reminding that on the night of July 17, mud masses descended from the Klyuchevoy hill onto two private houses in the village of Timofeyevka in the Olginsky district, a two-year-old child died.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations indicates that the flood situation on the rivers of four regions of Primorye has begun to stabilize. The difficult situation persists in the south of the region.
